College Aid Specialists was created in 1998.  Steve and Jo Ann have the philosophy that a well educated society will make a better society and that this starts with our youth.  They realized that this would not be a inexpensive task.  So many parents do not realize that college expenses are not what they were when they attended college.  It is not just tuition, but books, room & board, living expenses and etc. .  4 years could easily cost up to $50,000 in a State College or University and in excess of $150,000 in a Private College or University and that is just for one student, multiply that by the number of children and you are paying more for education for your children then you did to purchase your home and that doesn't take in to consideration inflation.

 

Realizing that the process is not always easy, and that their are allot of myths such as, My income is to high, or my students grades are to low, or I own a home so I don't qualify for aid, that families needed help.

 

We classify families into 3 different categories.

   1)  Families with total financial need!

   2)  Families with partial financial need!

   3)  Families who make too much money to qualify for any need-based aid!

 

College Aid Specialists was created to assist any family, no matter what category they fell into, to efficiently and effectively pay for college.
